This exquisitely detailed tapestry featuring an array of flowers and birds was adapted from a curtain created for the palace of Versailles. The original was woven in white satin, then embroidered with silk, chenille, and gold thread. Jacquard woven of very fine yarns, every colorful detail stands out beautifully against the soft ivory ground.
